Many of the regulars are familiar with my cat Charkie. He is 18 years old and has been a therapy pet for ten of those years. In 2006, he ws diagnosed with Fibrosarcoma cancer, and he has undergone several surgeries, chemo, and radiation. It appeared as though he had beaten the disease.
Last January, the cancer returned, and on May 23, 2009, Charlie's little kitty body could not struggle any more.
He has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. He will be missed by many people. As the Vet told me, Charlie left paw prints on many many hearts.
