Natsuko Ohama (Captain Cohen) is teaching a USC's School of Theatre and serves as voice coach at the Stratford Festival. She worked with the performers on A Midsummer Night's Dream. She & Ger are having a good time with all their old friends at the Festival.
Rick Forsayeth, FK's stunt coordinator, was recently injured in a set accident. According to GWD, Rick rarely does actual stunt work anymore (he's a coordinator instead) but was doing some for a friend's production. He was driving a car with a camera mounted outside the driver's window. The camera came free and struck Rick in the face. He required six hours of surgery and the outlook was very grim. However, in a testament to his strength (or perhaps stubbornness and a hard head) he awoke and was chafing at hospital rules in a few days and signed himself out of the hospital a few days later. Ger says he is doing fine and recovering well.
Nigel Bennett will be appearing in the Canadian Stage Company's production of "That Face" at Toronto's Berkley Theatre from October 26 to November 21.
James Parriott's new series "Defying Gravity" premiered this month but the audience numbers and reaction have been low.
