Nettle. Ouch. Nettles are painful-- I wouldn't name a kid Poison Oak! But then, Thorn is kind of OK, and I like Briar. I think if I were going to go with a prickly weed, though, I'd pick Thistle. At least they're kind of pretty.
Rose Birdie Darling is OK (unless Darling is a name and not her last name, then it's just tacky), but what cracks me up even more is Nettle... Rose... Florence (all plant-related) and Harley! I don't know about the UK, but over here, Harley is pretty much reserved for hmm. I can't find a delicate way to say 'trailer trash'... downwardly mobile rural educationally-challenged types?
Plum. I suppose it could be worse. I hope Gwyneth P & Chris M didn't set a trend there... Pomegranate! Time for dinner! Did you finish your homework, musk melon?
