Wow, is this the official list? I thought we wouldn't see it until March 2009 or so. Or is it just a list of names that readers of the magazine like best?
Isabella at number 1 is not a big surprise, neither are any names in the top 10, except for Madeline, I expected to see this at number 30 or so but not at number 9. Happy to see that Emma is falling, I never got Emmas appeal. I'm also happy that Sophia isn't as high on the list anymore. It's one of my favorite names.
I wish Mackenzie and Makayla (ugly spelling) would finally leave the list.
I dislike Logan on a girl as well but Dylan is alright. I always thought it sounded rather feminine.
Rachel is at 32? wasn't it almost out of the top 100 last year? Same with Rebecca and Jennifer.
I think these aren't very nice and I will never get their appeal: Brooklyn, Taylor, Jayden, Alexis (on a girl), Logan (on a girl), Addison, Madison, Mackenzie, Emma, Riley, Hailey (I like Hayley), Ashley, Jennifer, Nicole, Allison, Bailey, Kaylee, Alyssa.
I like Layla and am a bit sad to see it so high on the list. The worst thing is that most people only use it cause it's close to Kayla.
Well, I have some top 100 favorites (quite popular favorites, not the ones that haven't seen the top 500 for ages such as Estella, my number 1 favorite) and these include Maya, Mary, Richard and Victoria and I'm just happy not to see them on that list.
