Posted by Greg Heinz on 8/31/2006, 3:32 pm Greg Heinz - president The purpose of the program is to introduce or reintroduce children ages 8-15 to the wonderful world of sport fishing. The program will rely heavily upon dedicated volunteers. The volunteers will be responsible for teaching children the very basic techniques of fishing. How to bait a hook, cast, etc. At this time many of the program specifics are still being hashed out. However, the sites of the programs have been set--Bellefontaine Conservation Area-St. Louis, Forest Park-St. Louis and Suson Park-South County area. This is an exciting opportunity to get a brand new program off the ground. If you are interested in volunteering or know of someone who would be please send an e-mail to the address listed below.
