Posted by The home office on 12/3/2002, 12:01 am I've only just starting reading actual BOOKS again since all my reading was off a screen for a couple of years there, embarrassing I know. So what's on the nightstand this week? The Princess Bride by William Golden (or S. Morgenstern, however you want to go with it). I couldn't resist, the writing is very well crafted and funny, something I really need right now. There's also Neal Stephenson's Cryptonomicon which I've started but have been sidetracked from temporarily. I find I really need to focus on his writing for it to be fully appreciated but since I'm little miss addlebrained lately... it'll have to wait until my whimsy-fest with the Bride is done. Comics are the usual Marvel fare: Spider-man, Daredevil and Alias. Also Powers and whatever else that looks interesting on the weekly pile that Ian drags home. More later y'all, I've got some B-day cupcakes callng to me from the kitchen.

Sorry I haven't been in here a while, life is the usual bag of nuts and though I do stop in everyday to see what's going on in here (and I'm not just saying that people, EVERY DAY I'm in here!) I just haven't had the time to collect my thoughts and post stuff. Deadlines, family, reviews (which are just stunningly great), and of course playing with the cats all keep me from spending all the quality time I used to on this board, which could be a good thing considering the ridiculous amounts of time I used to spend online playing games, arguing points and cruising the weird and wonderful of the world wide web.
