Posted by the home office on 11/11/2005, 2:42 am, in reply to "Yorick Brown spotted in Florida" As for designs, a few characters are based on real people: Sonia is modeled after an actual model we met in San Diego and I only wish I could have captured half of her "look" because it was so right for the character. The astronaut is based on my sister because as a kid she was a NASA freak and it only seemed appropriate. Another one is based on my landlord and I won't say which because I wouldn't want that person to get mad, especially since I had no idea that character would bite it so badly an issue later, which is why I now check with Brian before using people I know as reference. I wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. But y'know it's some sweet revenge when you can get back at some jerk by using them as a model for corpses. Good thing I have a near photographic memory just for those occasions. But not too photographic to get sued. ;)
