Posted by The home office A lot of people have been asking whether Y will be made into a film but right now Brian and I are just focusing on the book's launch. This will give us time to think about this whole business of movies and learn as much as we can before getting into it. The current state of both the comics and film industry is making optioning pretty standard but at the same time, how many of those projects are just sitting on shelves? We want to make sure it's done right if at all. So far Y is the only project I'm involved with that has these questions floating about it. As for others, you can take a look at the resume in the portfolio and try and track down some of those titles. I have some solo projects cooking as well but until the pace of Y settles, they'll have to remain on a slow simmer. I'm just too nit picky about the art to go half assed I guess. :)
