I just wanted to make sure that everyone here is aware that when you are using and essential oil that it is very important to use one that is E.O.B.B.D certified. What this means is that is has been 3rd party tested and ran through a Gas Chromatograph which means they are tested as 100% pure by using the WHOLE plant and distilling it into oil.
Standard of Purity
To meet government regulations, essential oils only need to be 52% pure oil. Many competitors utilize extenders such as almond oil and safflower oil. But EOBBD certified Essential Oils are 100% pure from the first drop to the last. No extenders, and no fillers. The standard of purity for essential oils is the Essential Oils Botanically (plant origin and growing practices) and Biochemically Defined (molecular fingerprint). The acronym for this standard is E.O.B.B.D. In this standard of purity testing process, oils are tested by third-party professionals using scientific means to determine exactly what components are in the oils as well as in what percentages.EOBBD Essential Oils are E.O.B.B.D. tested and certified for purity. Keep in mind that only 10% of oils in the world have that certification and it the most important!
There are a couple of different companies that sell this quality of oil if anyone is interested please email me at iambella22@yahoo.com and I would be happy to give you more information.
