tt: Dr. Lai, at Univ. of Washington (10/16/02) they've had good results. There's a clinical trial in Portland, OR with 60 patients, trial is full, all are late stage breast cancer. He recommends to NOT use in conjunction with chemo- and radiation therapy, at same time. Results are good when used alone. There is much unknown about interaction/complication of using Artemisinin w/ chemo. Safer to use each on their own. Iron supplements are not necessary. People have been taking 1mg per 1 kg of body weight, also splitting the total MG's of the dosage in 1/2 between morning and evening. This is all I know so far. Will show to my friend as a "BackUp" Plan B.
