I was watching the Yankees vs. Redsox on 6/2/2007, and what do you know, it was the FOX game of the week. And even worse McCarver was announcing. He already announced for the Yankees local network seven years ago, which was an absolute night mare. But what he said during this game was even worse. Unfortunaltely, in the previous night's game, Proctor through one pitch inside to Kevin Youkilis, which caused it to be another weekend of heated rivalry and Tim McCarver talking for twenty minutes straight on his theory of hit bats men, etc. I even quoted him saying, "Joe, I want it etched on my tombstone when I die that the pitchers cause all this conflict between Red Sox batters and Yankee pitchers." He then got really confusing by saying, "I can be wearing Yankee cloth, Redsox cloth, heck I can be wearing Pittsburgh Pirates cloth, and the Yankee pitchers will still want to pitch me inside. What is happening to baseball Joe? When will the game get good again." Here's my word for you Tim: If you don't like brawls, fights, and pitchers purposefully hitting batters, don't analyze it for inning after inning. And don't be talking about a fight that happened over four years ago for the whole game, while there are more important plays happening.
