Now I guess I may have a bit of a different attitude about this one but I personally feel that it is only right to suport the community that you are becomeing part of. The shop owners and venders are going to be the people that you walk with talk with and laugh with in your new home . These are the people that will be there to help you out .
I have made purchases in La Penita over the past 15 to 20 years and have found prices contrary to what many think, to be very comparable . The difference of price is easily made up buy the support.
Congradulations on your purchase and enjoy your time in the bay area with all of the community.
