Let me think about it!! I have lived in Mexico twice since 1970. I am a Mexican born there and raised in Calf to think the Amercano way. Living in Lake Chapala in 1986-1999. I went to building custom homes to sell. One day I stopped by my house in progress, in the evening to make sure the night watchman was there, a youg man. He greets me and says: I am finishing laying the floor in the living room. It was not even started during the day?? In our world he meant he was starting to lay the tile. But he said I am finishing the floor. After a year running the crew myself I hired an engineer who understood their way!! Another case: I hired a local contractor to lay tile for a Canadian Nurse. I warned her that I was the general and any thing she wanted done to go thru me. Her pool lost water about 4-5 inches a day to a certain level. My guy said he could fix it, the leak is here he said. I said I had my pool contractor that would fix it later. One morning I showed up to find her yard tore up, he was going to fix it, she gave him the goahead. A month later he buried the repair which I never saw. The next day the pool had lost the same amount of water. The nurse noticed and in front of her I told the worker that it was still leaking, no I fixed it already!! I couldn't get him past that it was fixed. Sorry nurse I warned her. What a lot of people from out of the country don't understand is that they think different then we do, I didn't miss the point!!
