We went to Sierra Chincua Jan 2008. We spent a week in Morelia. The entire trip was a wonderful and memorable experience. It is difficult for me to make recommendations without knowing what your expectations are.

At the risk of being accused of being an alarmist... anyone planning to visit Morelia needs to be informed of the terror during the Diez y Seis de Septiembre holiday in Morelia. Perhaps you are already aware of it.
