The Avenida Restaurant in the same block as the bus station and next to a furniture stroe in the first block of the Avenida is easily the most authentic and best restaurant in the area. Not to be confused with the tourist trap Avenida at the end of the avenue near the beach. Seldom any gringos in the real Avenida, perhaps a little too authentic.
