Hi John,
I am female, age 68, and I live in Alamogordo, NM and I've been "doing" genealogy for about 7 years or so. I haven't worked on the Underwood line, at least back of Great Grandpa Richard in some time, but I will take a look at my files to refresh my memory before I send you information about what I've found. It will be interesting and fun to share information. I'm generous with my information, for I believe it's the only way to get more information and "flesh" out our family history. Richard Underwood ended up in Brown County, Illinois, married a local girl and they had 3 sons, one of them being my Grandfather. Richard died in Brown County, IL and is buried in the Perry Cemetery. I'll get back to you either later this evening or sometime tomorrow after I have pulled the files.
