Posted by Philip Brocco One night my Mom and Dad decide to go out. I remember watching them about to leave. When my Dad started up the car, it made a terrible screech! He opened up the hood and there was cat hair all over the place! I saw a cat shoot out, out of the corner of my eye and went in a ditch. The next day the cat laid on the porch. My grand ma (Nana) saw her and found out her leg was mangled. we took her to the vet and she lost her leg. We had a neighbor, look out after the animals we had but I guess for Baby Cat, she thought we went and abandoned her. Phil

Here is a couple of Cat stories...
When I was young, I had an unusual looking cat. When she was born, she was fully intact. She was born of a handicap, she was deaf.
A few months later the episode happened again but over at my neighbors, she lost a tail.

THE THREE LEGGED, TWO COLOR EYED, NO TAIL, DEAF CAT GOES FERAL! (WILD) or Baby Cat
In the summer of 74, the Brocco family decided to go on a family vacation to the appalation mountains, thru West Virginia and Virginia. We came back about a week later. (We had a neighbot take care of the animals) When we got home, there was no sign of Baby Cat. I went out in the back yard and heard some growling noises coming underneath the shed. It turned out that the cat, in one week became wild. My Grand ma (Nana) tried to get her but the cat ripped her gown. My Dad somehow got her, put her in a bag and brought her in the house. He tossed her and the bag, down the basement. It took her a few days to be domesticated again.
