One day, while I was dining at the Colonial Buffet restaurant in downtown Long Beach, CA., I happened to sit near an elderly gentleman. While the cafeteria supervisor saw a couple of flies on the window, he said to the elderly gentleman "mosca, mosca" (flies in Spanish), then he quickly swapped a few flies on the window with a moist towel. The elderly gentleman was wondering what he was saying. Then the supervisor said "mosca" means insect fly in Spanish. Then the elderly gentleman started to make a joke with a flying gesture with his arms and said, "Well, I gonna to "mosca" (fly) to New York next week." We all started laughing.
