(The subject has nothing to do with this message, I just got the song stuck in my head. Anyway...) I can't believe this crap! The other day, my school's chorus did a farewell thing for the end of the year. And they sang nothin' but Disney songs. But here's the thing, two songs were, you guessed it, from Newsies. (The short version of Seize the Day and King of New York). The sound was terrible! You couldn't even hear the soloists who had microphones on! They dressed up like newsies, and did the dances from the movie. But they had absoultely no heart in it! Not only that, but they played the actors' voices with the music. You know? I heard Racetrack, Denton, Dave, Jack, and all of them singin' WITH the chorus. It made me so pissed off! I may be new at this... But isn't the POINT of a chorus concert to sing, NOT the original people from the song? It was a day all Newsies fans would be ashamed of...
