However the US is not far behind (complete with their own complement of sleazy lying leaders) - they make their own rules, ride roughshod over international law - cf. their track record on the environment, The Kyoto protocol Guantanamo Bay, the International Court of Justice - they make their own rules and don't take heed of anyone else's needs or values. Their arrogance is beyond belief. Come to think of it our sad little government is not far behind. God we need some signs of hope on the international stage.

Tonight a US spokesman declared that North Korea is a country that honours no rules but its own and uses that as a pretext to punish North Korea for their claimed nuclear test the other day.
