Posted by Kevin Bates From ABC reports this morning, it is evident that the Israelis went far beyond the cautious respectful limits that Ariel Sharon has claimed. There has it seems been a massacre of innocent civilians that beggars belief. Then I hear a US Congressman proposing a piece of legislation to increase US aid to Israel, becaue he says that Arafat has been ordering these suicide bomobings and is akin to the people who attacked the US on September 11! There is no interest in the truth evident here, only a one-eyed determination to see Israel dominate and even eliminate the possibility of a Palestinian State, and perhaps even the Palestinians as a people. The world must respond and quickly to this rampant racist aggression. No wonder the Us voted against the recently established War Crimes Court set up by the United Nations. Prayers and protests must go hand in hand until justice comes to all peoples in the Palestine/Israel area.

I just add my small voice to all those others expressing dismay, pain and anger at the fate dished out to the people of Jenin by the Israeli military.
