Today we celebrate Mary MacKillop's legacy and living spirit in our Australian community and church. In the turbulence of this moment, we look with great admiration on the Sisters of St Joseph who are continuing to breathe her wonderful courageous spirit among us - through education, health, refugee-action, social justice initiatives here and in places like East Timor, - sometimes in high profile manner and often in unseen but powerful ways.
