I admire her courage and integrity and hope to hell that a few of her colleagues forsake their self-preserving pragmatism and listen for a deeper truth - and then even the numbers can change!!

She's been dubbed as too idealistic by Bob Carr, (I thougth leaders were supposed to be idealistic), and has been roundly rejected by the likes of Peter Beatty and Bob McMullen - but their head-in-the-sand attitude will do Labor no good - their new policy is a small shift forward - but only small - Carment Lawrence is calling for a more complete spirit of justice that is principled rather than poll-driven.
