They have shown their own prisoners on TV too, and as for the folk they are holding at Camp X-Ray in Cuba, well that simply defies comment. We are at the beginning of a most dangerous time for the whole human family....and yet the voices of peace still are raised with great energy and hope around the world.

The Pope speaks today of the danger of this moment of war - and paints it as a great danger to all humanity. It is a moment where we need to learn again that weapons can never create peace - it simply doesn't happen. Father Frank Brennan speaks along the same lines.
