Posted by Kevin Bates All the controversy aside, Peter Hollingworth seems to lack the charism for this this job - he speaks often without insight or depth, and fials to engage the imagination of the people. The present controversies means great suffering for him I'm sure and for his family, not to mention those who have been victims of the abuse which have brought about this crisis. Our prayers for him, his family and the nation, and a prayer for him to move aside and resolve his situation without all the publicity would be an appropriate course of action for us.

What a deeply sad feeling most people have at the moment about the controversy surrounding the Governor-General Peter Hollingworth. While he tries to tough everything out, he presents not as a statesman with great dignity, but rather as a poor harrassed victim who needs to get off the stage.
