Federal Immigration Minister, Amanda Vanstone, (Mandy to her friends!) was at her churlish best this morning on the ABC's A.M. program. As well as distancing herself as far as possible from any responsibility for the deportation of an Australian citizen three years' ago, she made numerous snide salvoes directed at the ABC, and then with studied bigotry, kept calling the priest in the Philippines"Mr" rather than "Father".
