Posted by Kevin Bates After masterminding the demise of John Brogden's leadership, they then apparently conspired to put their own man in the top job, and then have gone about strenuously claiming that they are all middle-of-the-road Liberals. The every so slightly tilted Miranda Devine in today's Herald supports them and their arguments and lauds the virtues of the shadowy David Clarke who won't even speak to the media directly. She claims Opus Dei to be a "mainstram" movement in the Catholic Church, and praises the part it is playing in maintaining Catholic teaching and morality. She and her mates miss the point that these people hide behind front-people, never come out in the open with their beliefs and policies, sacrifice all charity in the name of an imagined correctness, and create a culture of some violence within the Church and in society. I wonder will we ever hear their real truth.

It's been a fascinating week in New South Wales politics as the Liberal Party has slowly been revealed as an apparent hotbed of Right-Wing religious ideologues.
