I came across the following in the CC Times and was not aware of the original creator of the Ram's Head mosaic: "Miriam designed and crafted the mosaic tile baptismal font for the Church of the Resurrection. She also made the mascot ram's head for Pleasant Hill High School, and other mascots' costumes." Miriam Englar passed away on May 12, 2008 and I wanted her contributions to our heritage to be a matter of record. Miriam was always such a kind and caring friend, as well as willing collaborator and she will be greatly missed.
