Even though I haven't lived in Northern California for 20 years, Pleasant Hill will always be home. It was devastating to us, the class of '81, to have to change schools for our senior year. PHHS had a feeling of family. The teachers and staff all knew you by name. They knew your brother or sister and probably knew your parents. My father would take me to all the Rams sporting events to watch my brother (Gregg '75) play. Green, Farmer, Olson, Raeside, Clark, Shimada...the list goes on. I was in awe of these guys. The band, the cheerleaders, packed houses...I couldn't wait to be a "Ram".
I have wonderful memories of my 3 years at PHHS but one of my greatest disappointments was not being able to graduate in "Ram Red".
