Denise Rock -- model, fashion designer and champion figure skater -- died peacefully of natural causes on November 26, 2008 at Hospice of the Valley in Mesa, Arizona. Her best friends Kathy Roof Benton and Liz Barrett (both Class of 1967) were with her to the very end. Denise's ashes will be scattered in the San Francisco Bay. A memorial service will be held in Contra Costa County sometime after the new year. Details will be announced at that time in the Contra Costa Times newspapers. Happy Trails, girlfriend.
