((((((Sisters))))))
I did learn more about this tragic incident tonight, But... I will just go ahead and type what was in the news paper as it gives even more info then what was discussed in Church. These are friends of my good friend, Phyllis... (The lady that was working on my song with me)... If at all possible I may be going to the funeral with her, I will just have to wait and see how I am doing at that time and if she even decides to go at all. She lost a teenage daughter in a firey crash (a drunk driver v/s a church bus full of teens coming home from Kings Island)... several years ago... 24 Teens and about 3 adults died that day... the drunk driver walked away!) Anyway... funeral homes are still very difficult for her so, she is not sure if she can go or not... if she does I will try to be there for her! :'( Please continue to pray for all involved!!!

With her father at the wheel, a 5-month-old girl's young life ended when she was thrown from a ar safety seat, the police said.
Wet pavement and a dangerous stretch of St. John Road contributed to the crash late Thursday afternoon, police said.
Officers report that 18yr old Justin M. Smith of Radcliff was eastbound on St. John Road near Langley Trace around 4:21 p.m. when his 2002 Satern Sedan left the road and rolled multiple times. Smith's daughter, Kammryn Michelle Smith, was ejected from the car's child safety seat.
Kelly Richardson, a motorist who arrived shortly after the wreck, said the child was thrown about 15 feet from the vehicle, landing near a small stream.
Richardson said she performed CPR on the infant, but was unsuccessful in bringing breath back into the tiny body. "When EMS arrived, they took her straight to the ambulance," Richardson said.
Kammryn was transported by helicopter from the wreck to Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville where she was pronounced dead a few hours later.
Her funeral will be officiated by her grandfathers, who both are ministers, at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Coffey and Chism Funeral Home in Vine Grove.
Her father was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital where he was reported to be in fair condition after the crash.
Kammryn's motheris Kendra Powell of Radcliff.
The investigation into what led to the wreck and the child's ejection from the car seat continues, but wet pavement and speed are thought to have contributed, police said.
Richardson said the car seat was front-facing- the improper position for an infant safety seat.
No charges have been filed.
A memorial fund has been set up and donations can be made through the First Federal Savings Bank in Radccliff.
Numerous wrecks have occured in the vicinity of the St. John Road-Langley Trace intersection, Eliabeth Police Department spokesman Virgil Willoughby said.
Among those was a fatal crash in 2005 when Elizabethtown pastor Harmon Reeves Popham, 76, was turning left from Langley Trace into St. Johns Road when his car collided with an eastbound pickup. Popham died at the scene. The driver of the pickup suffered minor injuries.
Willoughby describes the intersection as dangerous "even in the best conditions."
