What can I say? It is sooooooooooooo good to hear from each of you that have posted (and Barb & others who post in the group emails) and I do pray that each of you are considering to return to SBC (Hopefully we can all decide on which board is best for the group, which I believe either of them CAN be private for those of us who have that concern!) Anywhoooooo... You all are sooooo very loved and missed! Please know that this also goes for those who read and do not or can not post for whatever reasons!
I can't even begin to say what a devistating loss it is for the group with the passing of Karen (tho we can find comfort in knowing she is with JESUS) but I, for one, do NOT want to lose another sister this way (wondering if SBC will ever recover and become active again!!!)
I do KNOW that Karen was very much considering coming back to SBC but one of her concerns she told me was that she had quit smoking (this made me happy) so the main reason she was not back yet was because "Sitting at the computer is where she did most of her smoking" (I guess she was wanting to be really sure she could stick to being smoke-free??) Dear God... she was wanting to be healthier for her family (esp. her grandbabies)!!!! I just don't understand!!!!!!!!
Anyway, I pray that her family will find a bit of comfort in knowing how much we cared for and loved her!
Now, Sisters... is there any hope for SBC at all? I know that we have the new board and all... but, it also seems so quiet and not very active :'( and I know that many of us (myself included) cannot be very active at times... (and I am sorry for that) But, I guess I just wonder if SBC will ever be the close-knit "SBC" that it once was? It will NEVER be the same w/o Dottie and now Karen... and what about the sisters that we have no clue what ever happened to them?? I just wish I know what to say to maybe make a bit of a difference, ya know?
I am gonna close this here because I am struggling too much to know what to say... Just PLEASE KNOW that each and EVERY ONE OF YOU mean the world to me and no matter what happens... ya'll will ALWAYS be my sisters in my heart!
