I have been so sick that I hardly can get on the puter. I usually just make phone calls, lol. My health continues to decline. I was recently diagnosed with Severe Chronic Kidney Disease, stage 4, a few months back, on top of all the other stuff. They gave me 6 months to live this time. It's now been 7 months. I saw the kidney doc and I'm in stage 3 now. I have been doin' the homeopathic treatment, same as I did for the Hepatitis C. It was 7 years ago that they told me I had a year to live, cause of my liver. I still have it, but it's leveled and as long as I live this new healthy lifestyle, drink my teas, meditate, etc. It's keepin' it at bay, so to speak. They did a sonagram, but I haven't heard the results yet. I go back in April.
We still have 40 critters to take care of everyday. I have a couple volunteers, that come out for 2 hours on Monday, if there's school. A teacher brings 'em out.
I try to get to the announcement list, but when I can get there, all I can do is read. Just don't have that much energy any more (weaker than water).
Some of our critters are gettin' older and older, which means more health problems, more vet bills and more time spent in doctorin' the ones that are on meds or have treatments.
Dave does what he can when he gets home (at 7:30pm), but it's still dark, so he can't get much done. By the time he gets home, I can't do anythin'. I'm tired just from sittin' up, so I usually go to bed shortly after he gets here.
We just had our anniversary in March. We were married for 28 years and still talk to each other, lol. Not bad for 17 years difference. I'll be 66 in August and he'll be 49 in July, tehee.
Glad to see ya, gal, missed readin' your posts. How's your mate? Didn't ya say he had Hepatitis C too? I think that I'm mendin' at least I have atad more strength than I did last week. Everyday, I get atad better, atad stronger, until I catch a bug, then I'm down again, til my body battles it and wins. I think that homeopathic treatments take longer than Rx medication to help, but then it helps the body to heal itself, where the Rx meds, do the healin' and the body doesn't heal naturally. The Rx meds have so many side effects, that hurt the body in other ways and the body doesn't have time to balance.
I'll try to get to the announcement list to post when I can. But I have to get online to do that and I don't get online often. It's all I can do to tend the critters right now. Some days, I don't have the strength left to wash my face at the end of the day.
Well, gotta get started, Dave has one day off, today and he has to go to town for supplies and errands this afternoon, so I gotta help with the cleanin' and feedin' this mornin'.
Tell all my cybersisters that I ain't forgotten 'em. I miss 'em terribly and I still love 'em all.
