Recently Astrid b& I returned from a short trip to Puerto Vallarta on Oct 1 and discovered that our home near the entrance to Tamarindo had been burlarized. They used what looks like a steel bar to breach our steel security doors and strong box and made off with a new 32# LG LCD TV, Sony DVD player,a Lenova ThinkPad laptop, a Dell D600 laptop, a digital movie camera, an Olympus 10x Digital camera and Astrid's 30 yr collection of rare and unusual jewelry from around the world including Ivory, jade, gold, pearls, diamonds and other unique precious and semi-precious jewels.
