I have discovered a small tree in my neighborhood that I thought was tamarind, at first. After researching, however, I discovered that it is not. It has larger oval leaves, rather than the fern-type leaves of the tamarind. It has bean pods similar to a tamarind, but they turn gray-black when dry rather than brown. The seeds inside are bright red. Can anybody tell me what kind of tree/shrub this is? Thanks!
