I bought some liastris(gayfeather) from the nursery at the local homeimprovement store and i planted them as directed. Now they are no longer blooming and the stalks are starting to fall over on some of them. I need to know if I should dead head the old blooms or what exactly I need to do to help them to continue to bloom. The growing season was suppose to be from july through september but at this rate i'll get nothing. Appreciate all of your advice. Thank You.
