I planted squash in an "Earth Box" and the plants became infested with aphids. I called EB and was told that it was not the box,and there is absolutely no one there who can answer a gardening question. My cooperative extension agent said that the black cover provided the perfect incubator for pests, so I'm wondering if anyone else has had more success at obtaining technical information from Earth Box? I have been told that the research center of EB is now closed until August 21. I am amazed that there is no technical assistance whatsoever after the box is purchased. Any advice?
