More than likely it is an animal that is digging to get at some soil insect, moles
and possibly Raccoons, etc. There is a watering system that will come on when
something comes within it's photo eye range. Jerry Baker has a product called
Scarecrow Sprinkler, you call contact them at www.jerrybaker.com or call
1-800-888-0010. Another deer, rabbit repellant is HUMAN Urine, or there is a
product composed of Coyote Urine. The human form is certainly cheaper, have
a male do his deed around the perimeter of your yard. Good luck.
