My Bulb Book says "where temperatures drop below 10 degrees F, dig and store clumps or individual tubers in dry sand or vermiculite. Do not wash tubers before storing; it promotes rot. Instead brush soil off. And be careful not to break or cut tubers unnecessarily. Dry tubers for a day and store them in shallow trays where the temperature is about 40 F. The tubers will shrivel if they are too warm or too dry during storage. Divide the clumps in spring; include part of the old stem in each division."
But when to dig up? I don't know. If you find out, please reply to my Amarylis question 3 down from yours! Thanks
