Hi! I just stumbled across this site and it looked the most promising. I have a question, is anyone familiar with holy basil, lemon basil and siam queen basil? Well the siam has purple flowers and i found both the lemon and holy basils that are growing near it has developed purple flowers also! I have grown both(lemon and holy) for a few years now and this is the first for siam queen. Is it possible for the siam queen to be dominate and cross pollinate to influence the flower/flower stalk color? The scent is stronger in them too. The other two have normal coloring. I would like to hear any input! I'm in zone 8 in Texas.
