Kathleen, Thank you very much for identifying the flowers. I live in central California, not too far from Visalia, Our spring weather begins in mid-February, as that is the time that we quit having frost in the mornings. From then until late August the weather increasingly gets warmer,drier and hotter. The indigo-colored lillies, or whatever they are, only blooms for about 2 weeks out of the year. But the color is astounding. In fact, they should be just about ready to bloom now (Feb. 18th)
