newly planted butterfly bushes and blackeyed susans

I live in Centeral Illinois and we just planted 2 Butterfly Bushes and a few other flowers including a Black Eyed Susan. It was the end of May when we planted them (just 2 days ago) and they are looking wilty and dead. Should I be concerned or will they come back?
