These questions leave a broad range from which to answer. The question of when and where to go and how to fish for them greatly depends on personal preference. Are you wanting to catch a stringer of five pounders to eat or are you looking to catch a trophy? Where are you from and how far are you willing to travel? Also what type of boat do you have and what type of gear? All these questions are important before anyone can help you get started. Im not sure if the board rules will allow me to recomend any local guides so if you want to email me I can recomend a couple of local guides that can take you out and you can learn the basics from them.
