I'd say most of us from the North end of Mecklenburg County and beyond either know, or know of Johnny Raymer, owner of Raymer's Funeral Home at Hwy 115 & Hwy. 73. He's served many of our families.
Mr. Raymer suffered a stroke Friday afternoon, and is currently in Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. He's in IC, and is not doing well. Hopes are high for his recovery, so please keep Johnny and the Raymer family in your prayers.
I've not received an update on Homesteader, but keep him in your prayers as well.
