Help finding stripers

Hi I want to take my kids fishing for stripers on our boat, but I have no idea where to find them. Any help is appreciated.

I have tried south near govenors island, mountain creek and up above 150 gridge near the park, but I cannot find them.

Are Stripers in the main river channel of heading back into the creeks ?

What depth should I look for them at this time of year.

Please Help !!!
