Thanks for the help John. Any idea what depths are Striper are and how deep should I slow troll live bait ? I have been trying to fish with 3 lines behind the boat with 1/2 oz weight carolina rig with 4 foot leaders and a 1/0 circle hook baited with large shiners hooked through the bottom lip / nostrils. I troll at 1/2 mph. I have been trolling the bait around 40' deep Is this an effective way to fish Stripers on this lake ? Any suggestions for improvement are appreciated.
