I know they use a venturi system of microbubles to help ensure the ozygen gets absorbed into the water. Tim at Creek Bank said the aeration system is the same as they use on their 20 gallon tanks.
One thing I did notice was after slow trolling some shinners around ( 1/2 mph) for a while in the lake they appear worn out and getting blood shot color on their back so I switched to fresh bait, shortly after that I checked the bait that I put back in earlier and they appeared revived again and the bloodshot color was almost gone - I assume the bait spa is giving more oxygen than they get when thay are in the lake.
