Striper fish kill numbers:
As of yesterday it was over 6,000.
Fishing for stripers next year will be tough.

Hello all,
Unfortunately, the numbers have risen since my last update. Please see the updated table below. Also, the peak of the 2004 event was observed nine days after the last measurement when DO in the hypolimnion near the dam still exceeded 2.0 mg/L. July 31, 2010 was eight days after DO in the hypolimnion near the dam still exceeded 2.0. Hopefully there is a correlation and we have observed the peak for 2010.
