Lake Norman does have two hot holes, maybe that contributes with the high water temperatures. I mean Hickory, Lookout, and Rhodhiss don't have this problem. I wouldn't blame Duke Power though, but they should communicate with DNR to do something about it. I mean something long-term not short-term. They should do what a lot of people are saying and put in an underwater oxygen system like one of those South Carolina Lakes. But that will be too much to ask for. Just go and fish Hickory, Lookout, or Rhodhiss. Or go the extra mile and go fish the Tennessee if you haven't yet.
