Published reports of the recent fish kill noted the NC Wildlife Resources Commission was giving serious thought to NOT stocking more striped bass in Lake Norman.
And the same report went on to say the commission was reluctant to stock hybrid stripers in Lake Norman due to concerns for downstream waters in SC.
Are you willing to accept a decision by the commission to end striper fishing on Lake Norman?
If not, then I suggest you write or call them, as I did, to express your concerns. You might start with these people:
